Well, I broke down and repowered my 79 with a 2000 model Johnson. Picked it up last week and dropped her in the Neuse for a test run. Sounds good, runs good, and feels good to have her back on the water, and this time, not behind a Tow Boat US captain! Looking forward to the season. Just waiting for the pollen to do its thing before she gets a good spring cleaning.
