Depending on trailer construction, it might be possible to replace the tongue with a longer piece.  I intend to do that on my flats boat trailer.  It is a tilt trailer so the tongue is bolted on.  My back bumper is even with the edge of the water when I load mine.  I would like to get home with dry feet once in a while.

That's what I was thinking JJ.  Couple of  feet longer tongue would help launching considerably.

With the longer daylight now I can get do a little each afternoon after work.  Got the foredeck  cut-lines ground in prep for glassing:

Thanks for the info. JJ.  Hopefully I can find a close supplier where I can pick up what I need.

Just wanted to show you Fl guys that we're still in the clutches of winter up here:

Snow, sleet, & more snow 'till tomorrow A.M.  Said the hell with plowing tonight... snow will still be there in the morning.  Forecast for 30's all weekend precludes much of anything getting done on the project.

My brother's down there on Sanibel vacationing.  What am I doing wrong?

brrrrr - I'll just leave that one alone
400+ flights cancelled because of that storm - glad I'm not on the road - god speed to all that are.  Nothing worse than trying to get home on a Friday and have your flight(s) cancelled - at least they are not leaving the gates and holding people hostage on the tarmac, or so they say on the news.

That hoop "?" (can't remember the proper term so I'll leave it blank) is pretty big - bigger than I thought it would be.
Stay warm buddy.

Hoop house is 17' wide x 40' long.  Not a very good substitute for a barn with a heated shop but at least it's cover.  Hope I can sneak the 22-2 in beside it.
