Got the rub rail off. The back of all the screws had nuts on them...is that original?
Anybody know where to take my fuel tank..it's origional and I want to have it tested etc. to see if it's worth saving?I am south of tampa about 45 minutes.Thoughts either way..better to get a new one...it's 33 years old for crying out loud
Squirt,I'm not sure what your plan is for the cap, but if you are going to add any glass or reinforcement to the underside, make sure you do it with the cap sitting with the same curvature that it has when installed. If you do it with the cap straight, you may not be able to get it back on the hull correctly.Craig
