I didn't know Lake Norman had any fish in it.   When I lived there in '90-'92 (off Brawley School Rd.) we called it the dead sea - tough fishing back then. Nice place but boy has it grown!

The Dead Sea has come back!  Norman is now one of the best spotted bass lakes there is, and you can catch white perch until you are just tired of catching them.  The white perch are fun for kids with short attention spans, and fry up really tasty!  Norman just gave up a new state record spotted bass that is currently swimming in the big tank over at Bass Pro Shops in Concord, NC.

Excellent John!

But one question...why does the article mention the SC DNR?

Thanks
