OK, so it's obvious a few of you are not bow rail fans... but, regardless of your opinion of bow rails, any idea if the 19-1 rail is the same size (will it fit) the 22-2?

clem...the bow rails are not interchangeable. Beam difference between the two hulls.

That blue 22-2 is a honey. Big difference in how the two hulls ride, length in a chop.

Neither boat is closed transom. A downside for sale in the Tampa Bay market.

If you decide to sell the blue hull...I'd appreciate first shot, a friend up here is looking. And here...open transom boats are preferred.

In NC...power pole...what's dat

 Thanks.

Gran,

Thanks for the info on the bow rail... guess that settles that one.  I won't be selling the 22-2... I've dreamt of owning this boat since I was 15... 35 years was worth the wait!  The 19-1 will be for sale sometime this summer...  An open transom works just fine around Cape Cod.  I do fish some open rip areas that you need to keep from backing down on, but then again, when compared to rocks, standing waves at rips are way down on the danger list cause you know where they are...

Does anyone out there have a 1976 22-2 CC that's original?  I've been trying to get a look at photos to see how the original was set up and haven't found any... where were the teak accents, chrome venting, emblem size, color, location etc...

This is from 1970 but it should be similar.

Check out the pics in this brochure - they should be identical to what your boat looked like when new:

Thanks guys... the brochures are great.  I'll post pics when I start running the boat/s in the spring... I'd be lying if I claimed I wasn't stoked for this summer.  Been waiting for my turn at the helm for a long time... it'll be a good 50th bday!
