Stripers are calling, John! So what's the deal with recovery? Is it getting the new parts used to the old ones? Or is it more of a gentle introduction of the new into the old? I am totally clueless as to how artificial knees and hips work...
DT,Very glad to hear from you !! Glad everything has gone well and you'll be layin' carpet by the end of the month. When you're able, I want to pick your brain on your Striper techniques that might work for me out here. Get rested up, heal properly, drink lots of milk for your calcium, and catch up with Gilligan and the Skipper. Once again, glad your back In-Communicado.... you being in the hospital was like the Apollo 13 commo blackout as it was re-entering the atmosphere......well, kind of like that... ...not fer nothin'.
I would like that it would be good to see how similar the Bass are from one coast to the other so ask away T.
DT,You have a full replacement? Cause I'm looking at the same thing
I've had about every treatment they have. Now the only option I have left is cortisone shots every 3 months or replacement. The cortisone works but it does wear off. Did you go down that road? If so how long did it work? Also I heard they have a new replacement proceedure where they do not cut the ligament across the front. It is suppose to be less intrusive. Did you have that proceedure or the conventional?
