Congrats on the new cute little family member. :08:

Ditto  :salut:

They're sooo nice when young.
They tell me (especially my wife) that girls are much better at raising. I wouldn't know. Both mine are the XY type.

Enjoy and good luck. :thumright:
They are great until they hit 14ish and their hormones kick in. I bet my wife would not say they are angels to raise.

Shes been great so far.  As far as the 14-16 years of age I've herd the same thing from everyone rick.  This is our first so there is a lot of learning going on for us in this household.

Enjoy having your daughter(s) in your life.  A nice benefit of having daughters is that daughters usually adore their daddy. Of course until the age mentioned, where parents become dumb, etc. About 23-25 they come back with a different attitude and you get to be "the man" again.
I did not have any sons so I can't tell you how they are to raise.

In between the infant naps was able to install some goodies on the boat.  The helm is all mounted along with console rod holders.  Building this boat I wanted something simple and functional.  I'm very pleased with the amount of room I have to pass rods on console in between boat and console.

Nice rod racks  :thumleft:  The boat has a huge passageway by the console.

Finished the rubrail today.  Cannot say it went super smooth or turned out absolutely perfect.  But I'm happy with it.  I hope I'm not the only one that is rebuilding a boat that puts way to much pressure on myself with wanting everything to be perfect.

I'm not a hundred percent sure.  I rebuilt the boat myself.   Used all epoxy resin which adds a ton to the rebuild cost versus polyester.  Also I did not save any of my recipts( would probably hurt my feelings a little anyways) if I had to guess I'm right around 15,000 very rough estimate though.

A good picture taken today.  My mother and father have been wanting to see the boat.  They haven't seen since its been painted.  So officially got the first picture of me and my daughter on the boat for the first time ( not in the water yet)

Love that console! The original is very low whenever you use a leaning post or live well leaning post.who did the paintwork for you? Good to see the 19'6 getting into the Restos these days. I've got an 04 200 that's constantly getting cosmetic upgrades. Hull side paint is in its near future.....

I found a young kid 21 now I think in englewood Florida who has been doing it for 5 years now.  Was very fair on pricing and does good work.  If you interested in his info I can p.m it to you.
