You gain more running surface too. Wing, what is your LOA sir?
Quote from: "bondobill"I should probably get used to the idea Of the outboards set 2 ft back from the transom. The 250 Explorer is kinda of intriguing . Any one have a opinion? BillOlder hull but a 250. Don't see them often and truly a "one of a kind" Aqua.http://www.classicaquasport.com/gallery ... 547/page/1

Bill,Wouldn't a tiller extension like this one work? Allows throttle control as well as steering...http://www.amazon.com/Ironwood-Pacific- ... B002VBYLM4
Measured the 245 today. The hull is about 24'6" measuring from the back of the swim platform to the base of the pulpit. Total length including the pulpit is 26' 5" or so.
Knew she looked big on the trailer for a 24.
And you get to count the pulpit too towards LOA! Which can be good or bad...
