my advice is stay way away from that area!!!,

if you do decide to venture close, make sure you have everything safety related...  

on a side note, i wouldn't be caught dead over there in my boat.

You will get a safety check.  If you are rowdy maybe a breathalyzer too.
Have lots of fenders.
Take lots of pictures.
I never wanted to get in the middle of that mess.  I have zero tolerance for drunks, even the female drunks not wearing a top.

Gasparilla weekend?  Stay away from Tampa, especially Ybor at night...
