Unwanted 2" Gauge holes...
« on: January 16, 2012, 11:56:35 AM »
A lot of times when re-configuring a helm, we end up with 2" gauges we no longer need.  That leaves a 2" hole, with something that needs to go in it.

What I do is get a gauge blank (I get mine from greatlakesskipper, but I bet MCL has a ton of them), then install a 12 Volt outlet in the center.  The Cape Horn had an ancient Uniden depth gauge that went south many moons ago, now we have this...

Just an idea...

nice set up.
Seabob where can I get labels for my switches that stick right on the switch. With so many switches going on it sure would be helpful.
Thanks
