Restoration and fabriction of all things wooden!
« on: January 09, 2012, 11:24:17 PM »
Good evening all,

I just discovered this nice little section and figured it was a perfect fit for the side woodworking business i started last fall (hey anything for a little extra gas and bait money).

I am a better woodworker than i am a fisherman (which is hard to admit) and have enjoyed previous replacement part fabrication and refinishing work...everything from replacing a wood transom on an old flatback skiff, replacing wood components and trim in a old pop-up camper,  refinishing the deck on a small runabout or redoing the mahogany feet under the console on my 19 6.

If its made of wood and can be shipped,I can restore or fabricate it.

i can strip down and refinish teak or mahogany.  replace or repair hatches on a center console or anchor locker, etc...

My abilities go beyond boat related items, so if have need a replacement face frame for that busted kitchen cabinet, want a handmade Maple and Black Walnut filet board shaped like your osprey or something else, let me know.

Custom work is what i enjoy, so don't hesitate to ask.
Here are a few pics of some of my previous jobs.

I have built tack trunks my wife's horse friends

Here  is a Red Oak and Black Walnut trunk with brass hardware

Scroll-work for another trunk I did

Pre-fitting my new mahogany feet last year

some Waterlox marine to protect (parden the crappy picture)

I dont have other pictures handy at the moment.

If you have any questions or ideas, let me know.

Bill

Thanks
Bill
