I have several side mounts that will work with that motor if your needs change.......

No Thank You,

I need a binnacle mount. With the boat's not being here right now I can't figure out which one will work. Most of the ones I see say they are for 1996 and above. I'm sure there's a way for them to work. Has anyone tried this??

The most affordable option would probably be the Teleflex MN dual function, single lever control (314302-111). They are the black plastic ones with tilt/trim buttons on both sides of the lever. They work well and are only $135.00 new. The only drawback with them is that you have to closely follow the instructions provided as it relates to setting up the correct pin positions for OMC. They ship in the reverse pin configuration from what you will need.

Alternatively, you can use a new BRP single lever binnacle that are around $300. They are nice units, and you can order with integral key switch if you do not already have a hole for the key switch cut in your console.

I used one of the Telex controls that I bought on E-bay.  works good.  The set up is a little confusing but not hard.
