Took it out Friday.  The weather turned bad in the PM, with wind blowing around 20, barometer falling, temps falling, and even a little light rain.  OK, so the fish weren't going bite...   :x  At least I got a chance to check out the trolling motor updates.

The i-Pilot works like a champ!   :thumleft:   Holds course better than the old Autopilot did, and I really like the "Spot Lock."  You hit spot lock and it holds the boat over that point regardless of wind or current.  It will also save 3 spots, so if you come back, all you do is get within 1/4 mile and it will take you back to the saved spot and hold you there.  On Friday, I used the depthfinder to locate a pile of old Christmas trees in about 20 feet of water, hit the spot lock, and the boat stayed over the spot - you don't have to worry about drifting off your spot.  The spot lock controls motor speed and direction to keep you on the spot.

And one other thing I like - the remote floats.     I've dropped way to many things over the side already.
