Gauges and switches for a 170
« on: December 27, 2011, 08:37:58 PM »
The boat will be off to paint very soon and I need help with the purchase of gauges and switches for the stock console. Do any of you have pictures of how you did your gauge and switch setup? I am using a 1980 70hp Evinrude. So the gauges should be minimal.

A 6 position switch panel should be plenty.

Here is what I did.

I have a tach on the left.  On the right I have a volt meter, water pressure, and fuel.  It works well for me.  Easy to read on the fly.

I see that you are using the original steering wheel. Did you add no feedback steering?
