78 246 ccp rebuild, group build? Need info.
« on: December 21, 2011, 05:43:19 PM »
I acquired a 1978 246ccp or 242ccp or 250ccp or 25ccp for way to much money 3k with aluminum trailer and worn out 96 ocean pro 225 needing work on hull and engine and t top.

I was wondering what is the people capacity for this vessel and what is the weight copacity?Engine is in the middle of a rebuild and the boat is about half way done. If I get any interest on this thread I'll post some picks.

Again. I was wondering what is the people capacity for this vessel and what is the weight copacity?

Thanks guys long long long time lurker I've owned 2 aquasports now a 89 222 and now the 25ccp.

Re-sized pic.

You need to follow Pete's instructions and you also need to re-size your picks to no more than 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall.
The above pic was 640 pixels tall before I re-sized.

First one's free.

thanks i havent been on here in a while cause the money slowed, but the boat is back at work and should be finished up in the next 3 months.   i have made some changes to the boat that i am excited about. ill have some pics soon. i still have the question as to What is this boat rated for as far people capacity. my local Florida fwc are super stupid in my town, it helps to know more than them cause i have CORRECTLY argued myself out of tickets 2x cause they have problems keeping up with all the laws.

Nothing against FWC. ive been a few towns over and they are great to deal with, its just the local FWC i have problems with ALMOST every time they search my vessel.

new buys are a, Hard top T top! and a Lewmar Pro Fish Windless!

Just taking a shot here but I think your capacity is 10 folks or 1000 lbs.

That's fairly close because the 222CCP is 9, so 10-12 would be my guess.

I'd like to see 9 guys in a 222
I did have 7 in my CCP. 4 adults and 3 kids.
