Aquasport 215 DC Update and Question
« on: November 28, 2011, 08:33:46 PM »
Well I just wrapped up my first year with the 215 DC.  I really enjoyed the boat and already can't wait till the Spring.  I ordered Bennett M120 Sport Tabs and I'm having the bow coaming cushions recovered.  If anyone has a 215 DC and has easy access to the boat I could really use the dimensions offor the rod box gunnel inserts.  I would like to replace them as well as maybe add a flip up bolster helm seat if I can find a decent deal on one.  Anyway,  I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and heres a couple of pictures from this past Summer.

Damn Mulv, she's gorgeous!  May have even wired her helm.  And you have the optional swing back lounge seat, not too many of those out there as it was a very pricey option...

Thanks Pete, I checked with him.  He only has one, plus without measurements of my own rod boxes I'm not sure if it will fit or not.

Seabob,  My helm wiring is perfect on this boat so you must have done it, thanks for the compliments.

My 215 is in the driveway. Not exactly sure what you need measured though. Are you asking for the dimensions of the "rubber-ish" inserts that cover the holes of the rod boxes (i.e. where rod tips go when mounted horizontally on side of boat)?

Thanks anyway Dxs, I was looking for the measurement for the fishing rod box insert itself.  I just made a trip down to the boat today and grabbed a measurement.
