Amazon valued customer...
« on: November 24, 2011, 06:58:13 PM »
So Maggie orders the wrong cartridge for our Brother label maker last month, we go online to return it, they say don't bother, you are a valued customer.  Couple weeks ago, she orders these high quality double wall glass coffee mugs and tumblers, we love them but they start to crack.  I go online this afternoon to return for replacements (we really like them), they email back, "Don't bother returning, a new set is on the way"...

So I told her to order a 2012 Chevy C3500 Dually Duramax/Allison with all the options, and we'll just return it, saying product is defective...being "valued customers", they'll say don't bother, we'll refund your money, but don't bother returning the product. That should work, shouldn't it?

Maggie's not buying it...

Tervis Tumblers are made in good ole Venice FL, they opened up a bigger factory after they got a deal with the NFL, hired a bunch of new people, good company.

Circle is right I saw them at Bealls marked way down.  With exception for the Guy Harvey ones....  they were REALLY proud of those!

Well, seeing as I have a Bealls and a Bealls Outlet 2 miles up the road, I will have to investigate...

Thanks guys!  Sure as hell would want to support not only a US company, but local!...instead of a Swiss company that has their chit made in China!!!

I bought some turvis lookalike at Bealls and they were good for a little while before they started to separate and get liquid between the liner. Surely they were not real as they were a butch of crap.

CJ, they had one here in town (down at the beach) as part of a promotion for Intracoastal Anglers (tackle shop). It was bright orange, and bad to the bone!
