Any Interest Custom Rods
« on: November 22, 2011, 01:53:39 PM »
I used to build custom rods on a small scale for local fisherman and now that I am retired I have started again, this can get expensive depending on material, labor is pretty much the same unless someone wants something special. I will post some pictures of a couple I have done if there is any interest at all. Let me know what you think Oh I only do saltwater stuff since thats what I know best.

OK I put up some pictures of 2 rods the gray rod I just finished it is built on a Seeker Hercules blank a composite blank. This rod is great for live lining Bunker and chunking for Striped Bass. I did a spiral wrap on this one which means the guides start out on the top of the rod and spiral around to the bottom.

The honey colored rod I am in the process of building it will be for Jigging.

The pictures arent to good I will post new ones tomorrow.
