Is it me or are you really truckin' through this rebuild?

Having good (and enough) help seems to be the ticket.

Certain rebuilders here are very secretive about their projects (or camera shy)

Keep posting those pics, we love um. :thumleft:

did you think about tabbing and glassing the console in instead of screwing it in? It will give you a much cleaner look and screws will always shake loose

Yea we are definitely moving faster than I had anticipated.  When I became a member in May, I read up on a lot different rebuilds to get an idea on what I wanted to do.  I originally expected at least one year before the boat would be ready but sped everything up when these two guys became available for side work.  I have no reason to be secretive because I don't make a living doing this.  This is just a side project we wanted to do because we love aquasports.  I'll have some more uploaded soon.

Yea I gave it some thought but decided against it.  I do think that glassing everything in is the best way to go though.  When it came down to deciding, I just went with the plan that would finish faster. I can live with the screwed in console.  Your thread has been real helpful though and I've been able to get a lot of ideas from it.

Thanks,

I know that's meant jokingly, but the funny thing is actually remembering to get pics!

I know once I was done working all I wanted to do was take a cold shower to get ride of that damned glass... so I had to force myself to go out and take pictures afterward!
