Freeboard Measurements, Post up here.

In an effort to gather helpful information on different Aquasport hull models, please feel free to post your model and the vertical dimension from the deck (floor) to the top of the cap. This measurement should be taken at amidships on your craft. That is half of the overall length of the hull itself. State year, model and measurement. A photo of the area would also be helpful.
Please, original hulls only. It is hoped that this info will benefit re-builders in their quest for the perfect Aqua.
If there is enough response and deems useful information, we'll move the thread to the Resource forum.
As per Gran's original thread:
Thanks everyone.
Please post your findings brethren, and much appreciated.
Original hulls only for historical accuracy. Thanks.
Later will appear elsewhere, per CB's good direction.
Again: freeboard measurement at the halfway point, LOA, original hulls only. Will equate to the front seat area on most CC's.
Thanks guys...let's begin!

1997 245 Osprey, all original. At transom door, 25.5" from deck to top of cap. Amidship which is at mid-point of the console and where the cap takes a rise up, 28.5". And forward where the fore-deck (casting platform) meets the deck, 31.5"

Original '73 22-2, 21 1/4" @ the center of the forward folding console seat. It happens to be right at the center of my knee cap. So to me, it just barely makes the cut of being able keep you in the boat for stand up fish fighting if you had to lean on the gunwhale to support yourself. Something to consider when raising the deck a substantial amount to improve self bailing. Further aft, she maintains a 20 1/2" height to the transom. Obviously they thought this through on later models and raised the height to make them safer.

1973 19-6 ---- midships 18 1/4"
at base of casting deck 20 1/8"
1983 222 Osprey has the same dimensions as Fitz's 1973
midships --- 21 1/4"
at base of casting deck 22
mine has the same 20 1/2" back to the transom as well
Interesting! They didn't mess with it in the 10 years between the hulls!

That's interesting Lewis because they were making CCP's at the same time with the raised gunwhale height in '83. Your boat seems to be a marketing attempt to retro to the old hull / cap design with some improvements over the early '70's design, however they maintained the original freeboard height like the older models. Your boat is truly unique and a keeper!

It sure would be nice to get an original flattie 22-2 or a 19-1 for the measurment before they all get rebuilt!
