175 oprey guages and steering system
« on: October 23, 2011, 04:16:26 PM »
I was just curious what guages a 1998 175 osprey has? I know it has a tach, fuel, trim, but can't remember what else. I need to order new gauges and I won't get to my boat till next week.

Also what type of steering system is installed? Is it a no feedback? The boat pulls hard to the starboard side I assume because the prop rotation and want to know how to adjust. I know I can adjust the skeg but wasn't sure if there was an adjustment on the steering system itself.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You should have a system check gauge and a volt gauge.

You might have mechanical steering, if it's hydraulic there are no adjustments other then the skeg.
