Dispite crazy strong winds  this morning I had a good day on redfish, 7 fish up to 27 inches all on cut ladyfish chunks. Did have some action on live shrimp on the big morning high tide first thing: a few small snook, lots of ladyfish,  trout and my first sheepshead of the winter. Skipped lots of pompano today in the mouth of the river just could not get one to take a bait.

The go to winter set up is a 1/4oz Capt Hank Browns jig head and a live shrimp.

Right now, Scott, the fish are recovering from the pressure change.  They won't feed tomorrow, maybe Friday.  They feed voraciously before the front comes through, but their equilibrium is effed up for about 2 days after it passes...

Sucks in the wintertime when a front comes through on Thurs/Fri, the weekend is gorgeous, but the fish won't bite...especially reds and snook...
They will be biting by Monday. I'll be going Wednesday, I hope

bob, thats what i love about NOT having the weekends off, our customers go out, say they saw a ton of them, they no bite, come monday/tuesday i know exactly where to toss the line

blue, i'll be going monday and tuesday  :salut:
Look forward to your fishing report, Aswaff400.   :salut:
