Dispite crazy strong winds this morning I had a good day on redfish, 7 fish up to 27 inches all on cut ladyfish chunks. Did have some action on live shrimp on the big morning high tide first thing: a few small snook, lots of ladyfish, trout and my first sheepshead of the winter. Skipped lots of pompano today in the mouth of the river just could not get one to take a bait.
The go to winter set up is a 1/4oz Capt Hank Browns jig head and a live shrimp.
