Cheapest ones - you won't be towing far enough regularly to need to spend the extra on radials (not sure the value of a radial on a trailer anyway).

I have both on different trailers now,if you are going to tow often and on the interstate radials all the way, they ride better and run cooler and you should get alittle better gas mileage over Bias,Bias ply hold up from sitting better but they get alot hotter.

I have Radials on my work trailer and Bias on the boat trailer because it sits more.

I agree with Scott.  If I did tons of highway towing I would go radials.  I just can't justify the expense.  My tires dry rot way before they wear out.

one thing to consider, payload

payload for 175/80R13

bias ply: 1,100 lbs each, 4,400 lbs total
radial: 1,360 lbs each, 5,440 lbs total

the trailer came with radials, and rated for 5440 lbs...

I would go with Radials.  The biggest reason would be less risk of blowout.  Nothing like a blown trailer tire to ruin an otherwise good day on the water (or prevent you from making it to the water at all).

Radials have much less resistance to rolling than ply, so when you're in a situation where you're pushing your boat around on the trailer with man power, you wont throw your back out trying to do so.

I know you're going with a tandem axle so this might not be a big concern for you, but radials track much better so you have less chance of "sway" while you're towing, not to mention they don't wear nearly as quick as ply.

You could always get some of those cheap tire covers and keep em' covered while you're not using the boat.  This would help prevent the dry rot, and your radial tires could last the life of your boat.

i went ahead and ordered radials.

i keep the boat and trailer inside at my work, only sun exposure it gets is when its used

blow out does scare me... kinda... a customer of mine had a blowout towing his proline o n the interstate. ripped his aluminum fender right off and did a good amount of gel coat damage... we had a blow out on our 13 ft atv trailer few months back, ripped the fender right off...

ordered a set of these :)

Nice!  Radials are the way to go for Jesse's reasons above - less rolling resistance, less sway, and more capacity.
