Went to buy some crickets from the local tackle shop to feed Paige's pet lizard, and look what I stumbled into-



$3.69/gallon  :cheers:  This little shop has everything you need or forgot to bring with you on a boating/fishing trip.  To boot, it's less than 2 miles from home and on the way to the boat landing I use most.  Apparently they've been selling "Marine Gas" for months, but I never knew because they're on the side of the line that doesn't sell beer on Sundays  :roll:

I'm stoked.  8)

When I lived in Columbia in '99, NO PLACE (except for resturants and the little "private" clubs) sold beer on Sundays!

I found a place on this side of town too...I'm stoked as well!

They sell beer here on Sundays after 12 noon. I remember many years ago in your state they quit selling alcohol at 12 midnight on Saturday.

Which was fine I reckon, the places we boys went to...we shouldn't have been there anyway :oops:

Freaked me out the first night I was in Columbia.  Went to a little bar down Bush River Rd., got there about 11:00, just finishing my second beer, the bartender shouts "last call!", look at my watch, say WTF?...

Didn't take me long to find my way back to Sarasota...

Like my dad used to tell me, Boy... if you can't get it done by midnight, you probably shouldn't be doin it  :shock:
