1 down, 1 to go...USF 23, ND 20...ND, 508 total yards, USF 254.

ND?  5 turnovers.  USF?  0 turnovers.  Keep the ball, the other team doesn't get to play with it...

Hey...USF ain't no fluke. Not really an upset, IMHO.

You don't win ballgames on name/tradition. Well deserved big-time victory for coach Skip Holtz and the USF Bulls :thumright:

And speaking of ECU vs. Spurrier and the 'Cocks...you guys know where Skip hailed from, right?

And his daddy, Doctor Lou?....He coached at Billy and Mary...then NC State. Then a brief stint in the NFL as head coach of the Jets...then to U of Minnesota...then to Notre Dame...then to S. Carolina. Then retired. Now on TV as Doctor Lou.

Maybe...just maybe...we can form some alliances yet.

Wanna bet?

Great victory for the USF bulls!  Has to be the longest game in history with the two lightning delays.

That was weird!  I mean, to empty, and then re-fill an 80,000 seat stadium...twice!  And try to concentrate on playing a football game!  Geez!!

Tell me about it, ND had every opportunity and break to regroup and win that football game.  Great win for the Bulls!

Final score - South Carolina 56, East Carolina 37 - total 93 points - not much defense in that game!!

But lots of touchdowns!

Garcia has had an interesting career at SC.  You know he's a local boy down here...

Yes, the young man has had an interesting career. Spurrier is a master motivator. He suspended him, then brought him back at the very end, then said the other kid had won the starting job.

You know Garcia must have been hell bent for leather when Spurrier put him in yesterday.
