I was wondering if they were spreading the word down there yet, even if it dosen't hit directly the circulation is huge with this system.

Yeah we've been watching this one since it came off Africa. Coming from a fishing family (mom's side) and a firefighting family (father's side) we all watch the tropics all season. One thing that doesn't sit well with me is my grandfather never says "looks like we're going to get hit this time" which he said to me today. Still to early to say for sure but he has a few decades on me.

Watching these things is a hobby of mine,it's moving alot more west than WNW so your grandfather may have a point, the models are shifting alittle east but there not accounting for the more westward motion,i expect them to move back to the left or west soon.

Try this link this guy is pretty good http://www.stormw.com/

She's a long way off, but the models show going over Hispanola, then Cuba...

I'm guessing Louisiana, Miss, or the Texas coast...

Looks like it'll be a rainmaker here - not sure we really need any more right now though.

We've gotten like 4" in the last 4-5 days...but you know we need it!  Just no destructive stuff, OK?

That track is going to wobble 10 more times before it hits land. If I was Scott I'd be watching this one real close.
