What degree flush mount rod holders
« on: February 10, 2006, 05:31:24 PM »
I want to replace my flush mount rod holders during my rebuild.  When I purchased the boat it came with 4 30 deg. holders.  Is this the norm?  Should I use 15deg in the back and 30 deg. up front?  And what about 45 deg's?  My thought is 15 deg. and the rod tip is to high.  A 45 deg will be to low.  What setup's do you use?  Thanks

bill, the ad I got off of ebay is already posted up on the documentation board.  I will scan and post up and we may be able to see the text better than the one Rayos posted up.

30 deg. worked for me. You can turn the stern mounted rod holders a little further straight back and the mid ship holders a little bit out.
