Looks great Bob!!! Cant wait to get her back!

No more mess for you, young man!

Blue, the Doc's Talon F-20 was a particular challenge, JL amp, 3 Bank charger, Raymarine sounder and XM module, and 2 group 27s, in a console about half the size of Aaron's, so I used both doors...

Had about 3/16" on all sides, yet still gave the amp and charger breathing room...

As I said, neat & clean!  You deserve a cold one SB.  I haven't seen a Talon in years.

Used to be a 24, twin Bridgeports that ran 110+ off Coquina Beach back in the 90s...

If you're around Hillborough Ave., just west of Florida Ave., the Doc lives right on the river.  The Talon is next to the house right now...

She's starting to look a little more like one of my consoles...

Maybe I'll get in and clean the floor a bit tomorrow...

And Aaron, due to the fact that I have some extra Bennett hose, your pump will now live in the port forward corner of the console... :D

Damn that was quick. And clean. You move up here, you'd need to hire a crew to keep up. EVERYBODY in the boat biz here has the same motto...."Check back the first of next week". Gets to be frustrating after about six weeks.

You got a chopper in the fleet?

Scott,
The key is getting everything out of there.  Small boats like a 200 Osprey don't have much equipment, so once you have everything accounted for, you simply gut the console and start over.  It also helps if you've done it once or twice...

Well, some updates...

Trim Tab pumps new home, thanks to compression nut unions...

A little boat side view of the starboard side...

What a pair of Gil Batt trays for group 27s would look like...

Aaron, let me know on the Gils...

I'm getting there, Pete.  Thanks for the compliment!  Aaron's 200 Osprey was built on my buddy Matt Bailey's line just after I started at WC/AS.  For all I know, I probably saw her 16 years ago...

Really a good looking Job Bob :thumleft: . I noticed the Quality parts you use. That’s the problem I have here. When I lived near Balto. I had over 25 companies to buy components from. Here in Del. Not so much. Really have to order most now. You would think with all the boats  we have around here. That their  would be more to select from, on the shelf.

Walt,
To be honest with you, we don't really have squat here as well...go figure, Tampa Bay!  WM will do price match, but electrically all they carry is Ancor stuff, which is ridiculously expensive when compared to other brands.  Yeah, they have a lot of Blue Seas stuff, but I find it easier to order on-line.  I get my wire, terminals (all adhesive-lined heat shrink), and Carling switches from genuinedealz, my batt cable from Greg's Marine Wire, my breakers from sailboatowners.com.  Some around here tout T.A. Mahoneys, but I've never been impressed with that place.

So rather than run around Tampa and St. Pete, I let my fingers do the buying from my comfy chair, and 2-3 days later, the stuffs at my door.  I like that...

Yea Bob I know it can be hard. I’m getting most of my stuff from places we bought from at work. Like Granger and Allied. I can get good hardware from Fastenal. They had a store just down the road from me. But they closed it. So I have to drive 30 mins. To their other store. I lucked out with them when I retired they still kept my account. They do whole sale. So you have to buy a min. So I get a few people together and we spit it. That’s if I don’t need the min. amount. I get all my SS hardware from them. But your right. It is easier to let your finger do the walking.:D
