Raw water pump on a 215 Explorer
« on: August 14, 2011, 06:47:51 PM »
Hello everybody,
Quick question-
Raw water wash down-should I turn pump on and off whenever I use it, or is it
OK to turn on and leave on for long periods (4-5 hours while fishing).
Seems to me like the pump only goes on when I release pressure by squeezing
nozzle open.
Also, to the member with the fish box pump out problem- I have twin coffin boxes, one
pump, T that has to be moved form one to another, and I have a strainer on the pump
that I have to clean out every 2-3 weeks-only takes a minute or two.
Thanks for the info on my r/w pump.
Charlie

I leave mine on all the time when I am out fishing just make sure you dont have any leaks if you do your pump will cycle to keep pressure up.
