Finally got my seats recovered
« on: August 14, 2011, 11:00:46 AM »
I am stoked!I finally broke down and got my seats recovered, after getting quotes and emailing and talking to several guys I had a local shop Mays Upholstery in Grant Fl do the work, they did an awesome job despite some challenges of the combo leaning post /seat.Looks better than new...

color is mystic white, just a nice bright white color, the shadow from the top is in the way.The originals lasted for 8 years, should get at least that or longer out of these, can't get over how much newer the boat looks wow

Pete,
They did an excellent job!  I know the flip down seat had to be a challenge, looks like they nailed it!

Sooooo, what it set you back?

Pete, it looks great, they did a fine job, and 6 isn't bad as marine upholstery goes... when your cruising along, or walking up to the boat and see those seats, you won't be thinking about the money, just how sweet it looks

Pete,
Think I'll forward this to Gary (CushionGuy).  Might be a real awakening for him...

Go right ahead, his quote was certainly on the high side, but no hard feelings, thats why you get several quotes for something like this,in the end glad I gave the work to a local guy,if I ever need a repair or something else made I got someone close by that I have a history with. Here is his web page

Beautiful job. And for what you paid, seems very fair.
