Florida avocados and mangos

Florida avocados are in season now . Big tasty and plentiful . I like them about any way , but add a nice touch to light summer eating with this idea. Cut a real ripe one in half , remove the seed and fill the seed cavity with a spicy salsa . Squeeze a lime or lemon over it and dig in with a spoon ! Good as a side with grilled fish .
My favorite mango dish is simply cut it into bite sized chunks and serve over vanilla ice cream !  Also a good mango salsa on any grilled fish is good ..

Man that sounds good! We just may do that! I got my yard chores done, getting ready to go to the store, get a 7# yard bird, rottiserie that sucker and pick up some Avocados by George! Mix a Dewars and water and contemplate my next move!

Yum!  I just love Florida avacados and mangos as well.  Now I gotta go to the grocery store and get some.
