Isn't the Equinox made in China, including the motor?

Looked at the Chevy bought the GMC Terrain much nicer style and interior gets great gas milage and rides and handles well for a small SUV.

DT,
I'm a GMC guy myself, always thought the differences even though slight in the truck line up, looked better, what did you see that was significantly different in the Terrain and the Equinox.  Thanks

mostly the body style I am not to keen on the rounded body styles remind me of insects.I also thought the GMC had a little more room inside.

Read in several paragraphs..."It was an experiment to see if GM could use its facility in China to take costs out of a vehicle."

Yep, pay the Chinese $10/day, and that sure as HELL will take costs out of a vehicle, not to effin mention healthcare, retirement...

Buy all the effin Equinox's you want!  Me?  No effin thanks!!!

Sorry for the rant.  Don't like it?  Don't like the fact that your neighbors are out of work?  Well, maybe it will cut costs...

Man, that just pisses me off to no end!!!

it ain't a rant. Did you see the employment numbers for June released last Friday?  Guess how many new jobs were added to the US workforce in the month of June?

18,000. That's it. That's almost too small to even be a percentage. Stock market dropped like a rock. And now the debt worries are impacting the market. So glad I invested in that mutual fund a while back....

Recovery? I'm not feeling it.

Thank God I provide a service!  Maybe there will some way in the future to ship your boat to China, get it rewired, ship it back, and it will cost you $100...

Took a customers Goodyear Marathon tire in today to get a new valve stem..."Made in China", not Akron!  Know what I have to say to American company CEOs and the shareholders?

Edit all you want, Rick...damn, I may just get "Banned Camp" after that post...

We all feel the same. 87% of Americans believe that things aren't getting better. Not that they're getting worse...just not getting better.

And guess what? And I firmly believe this. The golden years of this country are behind her. Hate to say it. But my daddy as an adult lived in the golden years of this democracy, in the late 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's.

We'll limp through. Then we'll be gone. My concern is for my children and grandchildren.

And hey no worries bro Seabob....this last twist has nothing to do with the Chevy Equinox.

Well... looks like Ol' Marc just through another turd in the punch bowl....

I hear ya'll, I swore I would never buy a foreign car, and have not to date, I guess the grim reality of it is, as much as we (I) see Ford/GM/Dodge etc.. as buying American, in actuality, there is not such a thing anymore.
