Anyhow....it is "Fully Seasoned For Frying Seafood"....which means it has plenty of salt. I add a bit of cayenne and old bay.
If you are salt averse...cut it with fine-milled corn flour, not corn meal.
Its dang good. Soak the seafood in buttermilk, drain to a colander. Shake the seafood in the dog food. Then fry in pure peanut oil at 365 'till golden. Fry in batches, don't smoke the oil between. Drain to a large bowl with paper towels, keep covered. Getcha some tartar sauce and lemon quarters.....BOW-WOW
