Installing Ball Scuppers

I bought a set of TH marine Flow Max ball scuppers for my 200 ccp, only problem is that there are no installation instructions or related part numbers for installation. I understand that you just screw them to the hull over the outlet from the deck drains; however, there must be a thru hull fitting designed for them. I just don't like the way they are going to look by screwing them to the existing thru hull. At this point, I would like to replace the entire system including the hoses to make sure everything is water tight. Any help would be great, I have searched with google, but no luck so far.

This is what my TH marine ball scuppers look like installed on m 200XF.
They fit right over my transom scupper tubes or drain tubes. I belive they are designed to fit over this type of motor well or transom drain tube:
I'm not sure how they will work if installed over a traditional thru hull fitting. I believe they have to be installed on a flat surface. BTW I love how these things work on my boat. My deck stays totally dry now. Even with two guys weighing 300 & 240 lbs standing in the back of my boat.

The scuppers should be a 2 piece setup for each thru hull. One piece is a flange that seats against the transom/hull that surrounds the thru-hull, and the other piece seats against that flange and is designed to seal when the ball floats up. Thats what provides the seal and prevents the water from flowing in. As long as the scupper completely surrounds the thru-hull, the type of thru-hull you have should not matter.

The TH flow max scupper is a three piece design. The silicone seal/gasket, base, then cover. The cover is a twist off design so you can clean out the scupper. A single set screw keeps it from twisting off of the base. If you used this over a traditional thru hull fitting the attachment screws would probably have to be drilled into the flange of the thru hull. It may work but I doubt this is not what these scuppers were intended for. I'm not sure of what the cockpit drains are like in your CCP but there is another scupper option that TH makes :

Sorry. You're right Wingtime... I see what you're saying. I'm thinking thru-hulls without the big plastic/stainless flange (like the one's you have pictured).

wingtime,
thanks, I looked at the alternative however, my outlets are on the vertical surface, not the deck.
