For the past several months I have been debating over what stereo unit to install and which speakers to match. I was very hesitant to drop big bucks, because the music is solely for sand bar parties and while cruising around.
I ended up choosing the Fusion MS-RA200 head unit. The price point is approximately $200.

The speakers I went with were the MB Quart NKE-116. Price Point: $80/paid on Amazon.com Placed two in the center console and two in the forward gunwales about two feet from the front.

This combination requires no amp or sub - just good clean music.
I listen to everything from Buffet to Reggae to Classic Rock to Country and could not be more pleased with the quality. It actually sounds better than what I have in my car and house!
