VERY interesting reading...

So, what do we do?  It is apparent that not only do the corn lobbyists have the congress in their pocket, it is also apparent that, despite independent testing agencies having found ethanol contents far and above 10%, even 15%, that the governmental agencies could really give a chit about blatant law violations!  I mean, WTF!!

Bottom line.  They don't give a crap.

They forced it on us knowing it was nothing but feel good crap to pacify the tree huggers.  They are not about to admit they screwed us.

Someone just re-opened a little food mart/gas station down the road from me that's been closed quite a while.  They are advertising non-ethanol available for around fifty cents/gal more ($4.04 last time I looked) but I'm afraid to use it.  Those tanks have been sitting there for a couple of years with who-knows-what in them.  Even if they pumped them out there is no guarantee they are clean.  Maybe next spring I'll start using it after everyone else flushes out the old stuff.
