Yesterday we installed the center console, t-top, hatches and more.  Here's some pics.

Going to look like a new boat when you're finished.

Love the stern bench/storage/well! I mayhave to copy you! Did you movethe console forward to compensate for the stern bench? How far?

In an earlier post someone offered advice on fastening the bow eye to be sure it will hold. Here is the bow eye and the anchor cleat with aluminum plate backing.  The bow eye is through the hull, HD foam, more glass and the plate.

I copied the idea from other restorations I saw on this site. It seems like it will work well for what I wanted: nice seat, smooth ride, step up to transom and swim bracket, and storage.

As for the console position, yes and no. Yes, we moved the console (and the fuel tank) forward in part to compensate for the weight shift caused by replacing the inboard with an outboard on a bracket.  That move created plenty of room at the stern for the bench, and I prefer the console forward and more room at the stern.

My boat got its motor today!  And few other things since last post, including all of its plumbing, lights and more.

Therm...she is a HONEY

Wow!!

That 175 would be my choice too if were going with a single.

I'll bet you're like a kid on Christmas morning, waiting to ride that new bike!

Good for you, she looks GREAT :thumright:

Gran398 -

Exactly right. If not for family, work and the rest, I'd work on the boat every day till it was floating.

You can see the t-top powder coated.  A big improvement over the aluminum.

Work on my boat has slowed a lot over the past two weeks.  The boat itself is ready to get wet.  The motor and rigging work is two weeks behind because of delays on the mechanic's end.  The busy season.  I've been doing some finishing work and some things I had planned to do after I got the boat home. Try to make use of the delay.

Here's a pic of the new Aquasport decal.  It matches the original decal but bigger.  I found some registration stickers that matched it nicely, same silver and black.
