I'm going to use the same color, Awlgrip Oyster White, for the non-skid as the cap. The non-skid will go on the deck, casting-deck and the cap, with an edge.  I thought about using a different color but decided against it.  Because of the way I've put the boat together piece-by-piece, I've five different colors on it already.  I found it difficult to match colors.  The t-top was powder coated locally, using a brighter white then the Awlgrip Oyster White, which is on the deck and console. Matching it meant more $$$, and I'm not sure it could have been perfect.  The deck plates I ordered online, and they are a brighter white than the Awlgrip but not as white as the t-top.  I powder coated the e-box and bracket a dark blue, to match the hull.  I think it will all come together nicely but you get the idea.

Not sure. I like the idea.  The color is Awlcraft Mignight Blue, and I makes a nice background for a stripe.  The picture makes the hull look more black than blue.  Mostly, I'd like to get it finished and in the water, so I may pass on anything that is "unnecessary" to save time and cost.  I hoped to finish in March, so I'm not too far overdue, but the weather is warm, days are getting longer and I'm ready to go.

Sounds like a Buffett song! Looks good so far; can't wait to see the finished product with the non-grip. That's something I've been thinking of tackling myself down the road a bit, so I'll be curious to see how the process goes for you.

And I agree; can't beat this weather lately (other than perhaps the wind sometimes), so get out there sooner rather than later!

Here are some better pictures of the hull. They're clearer and show the color a bit better.  After I took these pics, we sanded it with 400/500 grit to lay down more of the same paint.  See a few posts back that we ran short on paint. Shop will put the final (I hope) top coat on the hull tomorrow.

Some pictures. Progress.  The plan is to paint non-skid tomorrow.  The bracket is on. Rail, cleats, fuel cap, rod holders, chocks and more are on and taped off for painting. This weekend we plan to start on the center console, t-top, plumbing, deck and bench hatches.  Getting there ...

Here's a pic of the bow with non-skid.  Tim did a nice job.
