I'm not an expert boat builder,,, but, did you mean "Ventilation"...?

I'd guess Therm's referring to the "penetration" of the rigging tube(s). He removed the factory ventilation system as part of the hull prep.

Here is shot of deck edge glassed to hull.

Deck at transom. Extra layers of glass running from deck, up transom and under bracket channel.

And this is the beginnings of the livewell.  Divinycell foam glued around a plywood form. After it dries, it will be glassed.

Here's some pictures from work at shop over last week or so.  Spent yesterday setting up bilge, fuel line and more at shop with builder, and more sanding.

Bench and livewell along transom.  After some back and forth, I decided to put the livewell along the transom instead of in a leaning post.  Main reason was cost.

Here's a hatch with new composite backing.

Here's deck drains.  Run along deck from front of bench to transom.

Here's the penetration through deck into transom bench hatch.  One of these on either side for motor controls, livewell, washdown and bilge lines.

Some pictures:

Here are a few shots of the livewell. The well is built and painted. It will fill from pump in the bilge just below it. It will empty through the transom.

Livewell and hatches:

Bench set in place, not glued or glassed:

Bench glued and clamped over livewell and hatches along transom:

This is the anchor locker hatch:

Inside the anchor locker. Inspection hatch to eye cleat and pipe for electric to navigation lights:

Inside anchor locker. See drain in corner:

Anchor locker drain showing through hull. It will be glued and leveled, and then covered with a clam shell:

I spent most of my time today chipping and standing bottom paint.  Both sides of the hull above the chines are clean:

Latest pictures. They don't show much progress but it's been of a lot sanding, prep and painting.  Took the bracket and an electronics box to a local powder coating shop this morning. All of the glass work is now finished, except a few spots on hull.  The project is still on track for March.

Anchor locker with two coats of paint.

The casting deck lockers with two coats of paint. The access on will be covered with a plate.

The casting deck hatches bottom side up with two coats of paint.

This is the transom bench.  The excess glass will be cut out, filler will be sanded and shaped, it will get painted, and hatches will be installed.

I picked up the bracket and the electronics box from the powder coat shop today.  It's not a great picture but you can see the color.  They look great.  Very happy with the work.

Thermal, did you go with the bracket from C L Mattson & Co in Tampa?

I got an estimate from C L Mattson and others.  Then I purchased it from D and D Marine.  Here's the link: http://www.dadmarine.com/index00.html.
