Marine Connection Run
« on: May 10, 2011, 02:16:20 PM »
Shipmates,
Once again I will be heading home to Ft. Pierce (family wedding) but will squeeze this into my schedule.  If you are looking for something in particular, let me know.  As you know because of their organization skills (or lack thereof) details, or pics of the desired object/s will be helpful.  Thanks
Marc

Marc, when are you heading over there?  I too had planned on making a run sometime before the end of May. (I have to visit the Jensen Beach area for work, but I can usually decide when I make the trip).

Getting in to Ft. Pierce late late Thursday night, Friday doing some smoking of BBQ for the wedding rehearsal dinner, but may try and get over there Friday, if not, definitely Saturday morning, the wedding is Sat night, so I have some time during the day.  Call me if you plan on making it over?

Lew,
They definitely (unless all sold out) had/have the big Aquasport side decals, I think in green?? but that one you have there I have never seen before with the hook and all... is that OEM?? I don't know.  I'll call you from there if I see something similar.

Marc,
If you would, sir, check on Osprey switch/breaker panels like yours.  Just need the price, and if they have some.  It's a good, basic, all-purpose panel that can fit a lot of consoles...

Muchas Gracias! :salut:

Lewis,

Pull your boat up to your local sign shop and they can duplicate that with no problem.  That's what I have done on my last 2 Aquasports.

Last time I was there, I noticed they sell these in 2 places:

In the main store, there are lots of gauge and switch panels, that come with gauges and switches already in them. Original wiring harnesses and everything.

Out in the warehouse, I found a crate full of empty panels, including some Aquasport and Wellcraft.  These are more difficult to sift through, as you basically need to empty this crate as you dig.

I think those Whaler decals would go good with that blue rub rail.

I'm just sayin'

I had a few free minutes and swung in there today. For those panels, they average about $8 each, depending on size.  I left a couple aquasport gauge panels on top, but you'd need a good hour to sift through all their boxes of various panels.

When I bought my switch panel, with all new switches and breakers, it was $165 ish.

Marc- disregard my request!  I went ahead and bought a leaning post backrest today for $159. Thanks though!  :)
