Seastar steering pivot bracket

I have a seastar hc5358 hydraulic steering.  I'm having a problem mounting it due to the fact that it is set up for a yamaha motor not a mercury.  I need a hc5345 the only difference between the two is the pivot bracket is reversed (flipped).  Does anyone know how to reverse this bracket?

Remove the 1/4" bolts on that attach the pivot plate, then flip it over and reinstall the bolts...

I have tried that but it will not come out.  it seems like the bushing where the bolt screws into is also screwed into the pivot bracket

There is a bolt on each end of the plate.  Remove the bolts, then the plate will come out - there is a nylon/delrin bushing, but it slides out with the plate.  Turn the plate over, align everything, and put a drop of Locktite blue on the bolt threads.  Re-install the bolts, but don't overtighten.   You also may need to change out the center bolt that connects the bracket to the motor tiller arm.  Sometimes the 5358 bolt is too long for a 5345 setup.
