Hey CH,

You can't beat the Floscan management system. GPH, total fuel used, engine syncronizer for twins, digital tachometer, and engine hour meter. Mine is 16 years old with one flow sensor upgrade in 2008. A little pricey initially but you are buying the best. You can really dial in your best fuel economy and find that sweetspot.

You got that right Scott...If I ever have to worry about how much fuel costs, I need to stay out of the game. The one thing I love about $4.00 a gallon gas is that it keeps about 70% of the wanna bees off of the ICW. Thats worth an extra $30 of fuel cost. Happiness will always prevail over expense... Fitz 73' 22-2 twin 115 Merc 2 strokes, 2.5 mpg, 11 gph at cruise, 23 gph at WOT plus oil and lovin' life! Lets start a thread; how much can your 2 stroke burn!

i just avoid boating on the weekend and that solves that problem :salut:

i dont really know what my numbers are but i recently did a 50 mile round trip and burned about 22 gallons

I second that emotion.  I couldn't imagine life without owning a boat.

trouble looks like you just need to make more friends closer to you.

Don't feel bad trouble, the majority of the good fishing buddies I'd take along with me have gone to Kayak fishing.  I more or less just take the girlfriend with me now- she reads, I fish, but you can bet your paycheck she never splits the gas bill

looks like we need to hold all the gatherings in louisiana. in leeville dock fuel is 3.49 the price gouging seems to hit us later than it hits the rest of the country.

If everyone would stop acting like all is well with the prices of fuel and reduce their usage for a week or two you will see how prices will drop.

The news says that a survey of gas station owners shows usage is down - lets see if it does anything with the price.  Summer is usually when it spikes up

sorry went political and alil off subject, but figured i was like minded friends.

Mod Edit: 14 April 2011

This Forum is for Aquasport discussion and life in general. There are political (and religious) forums around every corner on the internet and as such offer ample room for that type of discussion. In an effort to keep on point, the few forums (motorcycle) that I'm a member of, limit such posts (within reason). Unless I'm directed otherwise by the Owner/Admin. that same policy is in effect here.

While I fully agree you are amongst friends here, the post is outside (by a long way) what this Forum is based on so I've removed it.

Hi, yes, I'm here.

I would use woven roving on this one, with West epoxy and microballoons mixed to a bit less than peanut butter consistency, but thicker than catsup or so.

That should do it.
