CJ, I don't see Farley resorting to that extreme of a ..."Precision Adjustment Tool"...

I do believe Farley sent Scott down to Merritt Island to get PH gaskets, as they weren't available in Daytona.  Scott called me while on the Beeline in between the Indian and the Banana rivers to catch 95 to head back to Palm Coast.  Told me he'd like to live down here, very nice area.  Mentioned the summers...

And that's the rub...our summers.  Today was about as picture perfect as could be, all the way from the Keys to Pensacola.  But all of us FL residents know late April is just around the corner...with 95 degree temps and 90% humidity until late October.  So we enjoy these days as much as we can, knowing what's in front of us.  This May will be 32 years in FL for me.  I still say under my breath when me and Baby go out at 7 am for her walk..."Man, it's gonna be a beetch today..."

Lewis, feel for ya bud.  You're from Englewood, I know there are many days (probably THIS one!) when you wish you were still here... :salut:

Hey, Scott!   I made it too!  Nothing exciting on my last leg of the journey...thankfully!  It was great meeting you as well.  Thanks for everything!  You really have something to be proud of there!

You forgot to mention the close call at the beginning of the trip.  Well, I guess it was more than a close call - especially for that poor racoon  .

And lastly, in case anyone doesn't believe you towed your boat to Florida, here is the proof

Welcome to Florida!

Craig

That is an awesome photo!
Not much longer Scott!

Farl is talking with SB now.

In the meantime....

We were expecting the engine work to go a bit smoother, but it is what it is. That's OK. We're checking 'em  out...these engines have never been apart. The powerheads are in nice condition.

We've been eating like kings. Grouper last night, Farl's 2 inch ribeyes tonight. Told the bride it's not a vacation...but she not buying it

Really am enjoying Florida. If we were all Richey Rich's...winter here, and  summer in Blowing Rock :thumright:

Thanks you guys...need to post pics...please bear with us...gonna be a full day tomorrow, starting at 6 AM. Have to leave for Bob's daybreak Monday. Thanks!!!

Thanks for the update guys!  Yoda would say:  "Lots of work you will do.  Luck you will need."   :thumleft:   Best from all of us on your efforts - it's only been...   like  2 1/2 years...   So I would guess Scott is about ready for a splash in the next month or two...

CJ, I wish the best of luck to Scott and Farley.  Farley knows what he is doing, and had planned for an "event" such as this.  Not going to be a fun day tomorrow, but at least the weather is great!!

There is no sense in hurrying things now.  Timetables can always be adjusted, the important part is doing things right...which is what Farley is doing. Had a good long chat with him tonight, as well as Scott, the boys had called it quits for the eve, some libations, and knowing that they worked hard today.  That's whats important...

I've got the Scarab almost done, the Palmetto 33, and a 28 Cat showing up Friday, owner has no timetable.  So I'm good.  But am planning to fix the boys Italian sausage with peppers and onions for lunch, along with their favorite beverage...don't want to eat by myself!!

And GOOD Johnsonville sausage...hot...
