Just talked to Scott and he said all is well except for no brake lights on his chit! I told him to check his plug to the truck and his grounds. He told me the wind is blowing about 20 to 25 and its a little tough with the T-top. He said they had made it to the hwy 74 and I-95 intersection. He also said he did have running lights.

There should be a big fuse block under the hood, drivers side, with the fuse functions on the back side of the cover.  They are small blade type fuses, I believe it's 10A.  IIRC, there is one labeled "trailer braking" or something like that...

Running lights work but no brake lights, did he say he had turn signals working or not?

He fixed it... New plug did the trick; he had one with him. I just talked to him a 1/2 hour ago. Just cruisin down the road at 62 mph.

WHOOZBITCHIN???? Black ice on the roads the day before, (for then uninitiated, that is clear smooth ice that you don't know your on until you are doing 35 sideways trying desperately not to park against to a telephone pole) It was 52 yesterday, 'course it was blowing over 40 but so what...  Gonna be 6 tonight.  If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes! :thumright:

After the warm up I'm gonna need wheels for my snow machine, now that is something to whine about  ..

Don't drive faster then your guardian angel can fly boys!! :salut:

This is exciting to be on this side of the fence...  I was making the same run a year ago this Sunday.  I know the roads they are one now.  62 is a perfect speed for the haul.  I think that was about Roadasprin and I were running with the 245.

Just talked to the boys...

They're at a Hooters in Savannah, presumably getting some chow.  . No problems, bearing temps @ 65 degrees, life is good. Should be wheels down around 4:15 at my house. I'll report as he starts his initial approach. I'm at the house on standby.

Update...
Craig and Scott split off at 295. Scotty's just getting into downtown Jax and still smooth sailing. He says he's got a little rearend sway in a cross wind. Probably original shocks on the T Hoe. He's going to call when he's on this side of ST. Augustine.... Miss Delmarva is back in Florida!

Hey, Scott!   I made it too!  Nothing exciting on my last leg of the journey...thankfully!  It was great meeting you as well.  Thanks for everything!  You really have something to be proud of there!

You forgot to mention the close call at the beginning of the trip.  Well, I guess it was more than a close call - especially for that poor racoon  .

And lastly, in case anyone doesn't believe you towed your boat to Florida, here is the proof

Welcome to Florida!
