Lew, crank up the new power wagon and ride on down!

Hope as many members as possible can come over to Bob's Monday. If you can't...come for the christening

Hey all!  I'm currently enjoying Scott's and Miss Carolyn's hospitality up here in the cold north.  Nothing like steamed oysters and cold beers on a chilly night!  Next up:  shrimp and black beans and rice...what a host!

As you will soon see, Scott's boat came out great!  She is a real beauty, with a fantastic fit & finish.  I gotta admit it's a little tough to look at the flatback fireboat next to his boat.  Pretty much both ends of the spectrum.  But at least it gives me something to strive for!  Looking forward to getting back to Florida tomorrow so I can start to tear into her.

Hey Craig,
If your butt is whipped before you decide to traverse across Florida to Chrystal River, follow Scotty to the house and crash here and take off Saturday morning. I'm 1.5 hour south of Jax. We be goin out to Flagler Fish Company for dinner and maybe the Golden Lion Cafe to enlighten society.  My sweetheart, Beth is watching this unfold from her daughters house in Valrico and has granted me and Scotty 36 hour reprieve before she returns home Sunday. Where else could you have 3 old 22-2's in the yard at the same time. It really doesn't get any better than this!

Craig...she was a fire boat, for crying out loud!!  And a very unique one at that!  You'll have fun with her, get all the nasty work (grinding, cutting, that icky stuff!) out of the way while it's cool.  Summer is no time to be doing that chit...

Have a safe pull down tomorrow, make sure the trailer lights are in working order (Waldo would have a field day with a burnt out tail light bulb!!), I'll stop up sometime soon to see her...

Drink all of Scott's beer!!!

Thanks Fitz!  But my 36 hours of freedom ends tomorrow night.  It is only about 2-1/2 hours from Jacksonville to CR, so I should be ok.  I do appreciate the offer though!  Have fun with the engines!

You are right, Bob...I was just funnin.  Scott's boat really does look great though.

Recall that I was lucky to get my wife's permission to get this boat.  I still need to do the honey-dos before getting full-bore into the rebuild.  I do want to get the floor up soon though so that I can see what I'm starting with below the deck.  Then I will work on it as time and projects allow.  You are certainly welcome any time!  Unfortunately I will not be down to your place Monday, but I am hoping to make the splashing!

And yes, I'm working on finishing off all of Scott's beer!
