Farley, unfortunately, you would have to get into tabs to achieve a more bow down attitude. One thing you may consider is using Volvo QL tabs. Rather than an adjustable trim "plane", such as on Bennetts and Lencos, the tab is basically a plate that extends downward from the housing, causing the onrushing water pressure against the plate to force the stern up, bow down. Very unobtrusive, the housing is only like 1' wide by 2" tall. I thought Scotty was going with two units instead of one. You won't see a hummingbird or Lowrance on a commercial fishing boat. When it comes to bottom machines Furuno is hard to beat, just ask any commercial grouper guy. But I guess for chicken eating Scotty they should do just fine.
