Hang in there Scott.
She is looking great, I know it has been a long wait.
It will happen for you.

Happy New Year!

Hang in there Scott!  Your boat looks fantastic, and you are very close to the finish line...don't give up now!  I think you should take Bob up on his offer.  As you said, it is winter, so you probably wouldn't be using now anyway.  Get it to Bob as soon as practical so you can have it back when the weather gets nicer.  If there is anything I could do to help, let me know.  Unfortunately I'm almost as far south as Bob.  It would be nice if we could set up a relay of members to transport your boat down here in segments.  Heck, I could take it from Gainsville down to Bob's house if that works.  But whatever way you decide to go, hang in there!  It will be worth it in the end!

One of my favorite sayings is, "No good deed goes unpunished"...

I wish you the best of luck getting her rigged sooner than later. Winter or not, I know I would put her in the water just to do it after this long.

Guys, we have a great plan, and our Aquasport Brothers have made it happen :thumright:

Florida is a good ways from NC. But in the end, it was a weighted decision.

Farley is a terrific thinker, and has devised a two-pronged attack.

I tow the boat to Palm Coast. I assist Farley with the engine work (carb rebuilds, water pumps, thermostats, lube, etc, etc.) Get the twins purring after a 2 year sit.

We tow the boat to Bob's. We meet and plan. I leave my truck and boat at Bob's. Farl takes me to the Sanford airport. I fly home for 39 bucks.

Bob works his magic  Upon completion, I fly back to Sanford, go to Bob's, and pull her home

Here's the best part. Those two guys having your back takes a load of worry off the plate. You're getting a BEST job, no BS, no rip-offs, no broken promises, no crap work, no crying. Friends you know and trust!

Thanks so much you guys  ....the frustration is over. We have a plan :thumright:

As a tribute to her lineage...she will be run in Florida salt before she leaves

Bill, thanks. Your friends...man, I appreciate you guys.

This whole thing has been a journey of twists and turns. For your buds to take on the load at the end....I'm REALLY appreciative.
