Hey that route looks familiar to me for reason!

I like Bobs favorite shortcuts at the top of his browser...  Bay news 9 weather then CAS, THT, then sports scores followed up by the weather channel!  At least he's smart enough not to have smut links in view!

As you say Scott "smokin bro"  :thumright:

Tow it on down to Seabob.  Looks like that drive is shorter than my trek to Pensacola

Thanks guys! :thumright:

My main thing is time away from the biz....when you're a one man band, you eat what you kill.

I would want to pull it down, go over the placement of things, get it figured out with Bob. Sure wouldn't have it shipped down...half the fun would be meeting the cousins, hanging out. So would need to figure out/schedule some time away, hopefully when its slow here.

I'll call the rigger first of the week...he either gives a firm date or I'll hit I-95 in January.

Scott,
Sounds like it would be easier for me to come up there for a day, get all the particulars in order...

Thanks Bob!

Lot to chew on. Steering, throttle, batts, pumps, everything...I'll give you a holler tomorrow and we'll put our heads together.

I'd be tickled pink,  I really appreciate it Bob :thumright:

I know it's been awhile on Jose Gaspar's 250 CCP, as I've been a bit busy with "other" things, but what I wanted to get done today was what I call the "electrical framework"...

For comparison, what it looked like...

It sets up my routing paths, gives me an idea how add-ins are going to be routed and terminated, and helps me locate additional components such that they are relatively easy for me to install, give relatively easy access to the owner, and provide relative ease of trouble shooting down the road when chit craps out.

The 250 CCP is a BIG console...with very little working room inside.  Your console Scott?  Piece of cake in comparison...

This pic was taken laying flat on my back on the cockpit sole.  All the work is either done on my back or on my side.  Not fun...

While all this rigging stuff sounds nice, I'm sure momma isn't quite ready for you to split to the Carolinas for a week or so. Doesn't hurt to plan I guess.

Rick, you are absolutely correct.  But a day up there (where Scott can get away from the store, yet still be close at hand), will give him and I a good plan of how he wants to do things.  Then we'll figure out the logistics of getting the work done.

Scott's been through the ringer as far as the time element goes.  It's about time someone stepped up and tried to expedite things such that when spring rolls around, he's ready to drop her in the water and head to wherever his heart desires, knowing that he has the boat and equipment to back him up.  Hell, I'm sure if I sweeten the pot for Aaron, he'll drive up with me in his F2fiddy and drag Miss Delmarva back to my place...he knows the way!

Scott,

I showed the wife the pictures of your boat last night, and told her I got the bug real bad for a 22-2 project.  I didn't realize she had that look in her   !  She said hell no, not until I finish all those other unfinished projects around the house.  Damn, I guess I know what I'll be doing for Christmas vacation!

So how do you guys do it?  My wife's pretty understanding, and usually lets me get my toys, but she might be a little tougher with this one.  Do I go the "better to ask forgiveness than permission" route?  Is it chocolate and flowers for a couple months?  Watch the Lifetime channel with her  :pukel: ?  What's the secret???
