Just trying to help, my friend.  Don't want to see any gel cracking after a couple runs in the slop... :salut:

Hey, much appreciated.

Two heads are better than one.

Thanks Pete :thumright:

It is two colors. The top portion that faces the sky is off white like the hull, underneath is the same teal blue as inside the livewell.

That 2 sided sunbrella is very nice,a word about Ttop problems as Bob was saying, from my experience with cracking,in speaking with the fabricator,he said that failures/cracks are caused by the top twisting after a hard landing, the key is to find the "sweet spot" for the sea conditions just slow enough so the boat doesn't pound.Makes for a more comfortable ride too. :salut:

I went with plastic a trim around the bottom of my livewell, stainless like you did on the gunnel edge would look sweet.
Looking better every time I see new pictures

Many thanks guys!

Getting near the end. Floor non-skid installed, green PVA will be removed. A pic of the plumbing beneath the livewell.

And livewell with cushion. Thank goodness for the fine houses of Tampa, Florida :thumright:

Scotty,
That spot aft of the anchor locker b/head, under the deck...that's gonna be Boo Boo's "lay down and pant" spot!

Question.  The small black barbed fitting on the underside of the livewell...recirculater?

Thanks Bob, thanks Bruce!     Bob, a special thanks to you for your help over the course of this rebuild :thumright:

The black fitting appears (from the bottom) to be a recirculator/aerator. It is actually the 3/4 inlet, with adjustable aerator nozzle above, supplied by Shipoke.

Keep mentioning the Tampa sourcing. Eugene Son of Shipoke Boatworks has supplied all of the specialty 316 hinges, Orcas deck cams, pull up cleats, etc. Quality T Tops of Tampa supplied the oval livewell cushion, flip-back backrest, hardware, etc.

And since I'm giving thanks....the biggest contributor to this build has been my bud Farley.  I have bugged him, bothered him, cried to him...measurements, advice, input, opinions....he has been there, whatever the question, whatever the need. Thank you my  brother :thumright:

THANK YOU  guys...hanging the little twins next :thumright:

Have your guys figured what the centers are going to be?  Bigger motors usually 26 minimum, but I've never dealt with twin 75s, those are pretty narrow.  I'd still try to go with a wide spread for docking purposes.

We have been wrestling hard with that, and are very close.

Farl's 115 Mercs are at 27 and 1/8 inches. At that measurement, they are 1/8th inch from touching the transom boxes, either side, any motor position.

The new transom boxes have the new aluminum trim. Although they have been slightly narrowed at the top per Eugene's new box build...we wanted to allow leeway for the box trim in terms of the motors potentially touching the boxes.

Therefore...we have narrowed it as you say to exactly 26 inches, or 13 inches per each from center.

Whatcha think? Thanks
