Here is the weight with the boat on the trailer, and the T Top in the back of the truck. The T Top and radio box weigh 90#

So, 2340 pounds. But the weight of the T Top must be subtracted, so the boat hull as shown weighs 2250#.

But    for a complete dry weight three hatches and hardware will be added, giving a finished dry weight of 2310 pounds estimated.

Closest guess was Sealion at 2280

Congratulations to our Grand Prize Weiner, Sealion :salut:  :salut:

Scott,

Don't you have to add in the weight of the console door and leaning post/livewell for a full unrigged weight? The big vertical console door if 1/2 inch starboard will weigh around 15 lbs. and your leaning post/livewell is likely around 80-90 lbs. Maybe around 100 lbs for both.

Two buxom NC girls will tip the scales @300# in aggregate, so get the bow deck airbrushed with their images, sunning with a cocktail in each hand. Scottie will be happy, boo boo will sniff around them , the two 75's will be happy, life is good. So then net hull eight gets back to 2000# +/-. Priceless!

Now THAR ya go Farl :thumright:

Eugene, you make a good point. It really isn't out the door without something to sit on, ie "factory dry weight."

I'll weigh the cheap and thin single wall Coast to Coast of Old Port Richey oval livewell on Monday. And we'll get a weight estimate from the rigger on an economy plastic console door. I'm thinking light and cheap, all I can afford right now.

However, if were to consider maximum allowable donations from constituents to the campaign fund....well by golly...things could change. Heavy change we can believe in

Nevertheless...and appreciated donations aside...

The Date with Kate shall Wait

Bill...thanks!

Have been assured that the matronly Mizriz Delmarva will attain a speed at WOT of 31.766 mph, properly pitched, with a nice cruise of 21 mph at 4250.

Just kidding

Those twins with the existing stainless props should get her an easy 29 mph cruise. Fully rigged.....we have estimated that she'll come in slightly under 3500 pounds.

Whitley's new 22-2 rebuild, full transom, four batt's, Bob's plate, Power Pole, electric motors, tower...comes in a  bit heavier fully rigged.

The single 150 on that ride got 42 mph WOT. If we get 39 with the twins I'll be stoked. Any faster....could blow the chicken wings right outta the transom :thumright:

Thanks to Eugene and Farley for the performance numbers :thumright:

We Carolina boaters really love a little extra glass....I figured she'd be a little beefy. About what a 23' Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman weighs.

Stunningly beautiful craft!!

Thanks sealion!

From today, adding aluminum trim beneath cap (thanks Eugene for sourcing this), internal livewell mounting ring (thanks Eugene, great idea), livewell floor raised for plumbing, prepping for non-skid, etc.
